If you have an image of classical music concerts being stuffy, Classical Revolution is a movement that strives to change that perception. Violinist Edwin Huizinga —founding member and fellow Canadian—is giving away two tickets to his show “Time Stands Still” this Saturday. His cross-genre experience in the indie, jazz and rock music scene is surely going to infuse this concert with a certain je ne sais quoi.

All the tension and drama that’s in the music becomes up front and immediate when you can see a handful of musicians up close and personal. You’ll get to experience an exciting program featuring instrumental and vocal music by 19th/20th century composers from Spain, Argentina, the former Soviet Union, France and Germany.

Want to win 2 tickets to see Edwin Huizinga perform this Saturday, Jan 26th, 8pm @ Gallery 345 with soprano Indre Viskontas (who also has a PhD in neuroscience), pianist Ian Scarfe, violinist Aniela Eddy, cellist Charles Akert, and violinist Keith Hamm?

Simply show us some love on Facebook, or Twitter, and consider a response to this question: Do you remember a time when time stood still for you?

We will select the lucky winner this Friday, January 25th at 5 p.m.
