Here at BeMused, it has been a pleasure discovering local and independent performing arts companies and giving them a hand in reaching a wider audience.
Last month, we featured the work of Soup Can Theatre in an insightful Q&A with co-artistic director Sarah Thorpe and Pratik Gandhi, and we are excited to offer you a chance to win two tickets to the opening night of this genre-blending double bill on Wednesday March 27th, 2013!
Performed under the music and stage direction of Pratik Grandhi with a live 14-piece orchestra, Samuel Barber’s short operatic work A Hand of Bridge takes place as two couples engage in a simple card game as they reveal not so simple facets of their character.
Sarah Thorpe directs Jean Paul Satre’s No Exit takes place in the afterlife, where three people who have passed away are punished by being locked in a room together for eternity. On top of this unusual program, check out the impressive cast, musicians and creative team that’s working behind the scene.
For a chance to win two tickets to Soup Can Theatre’s opening night, all you have to do is retweet the contest, like us on facebook, or answer this thought provoking question: What’s your idea of hell?
Contests end next Tuesday at 5pm so get your entries in for this fantastic show!
